For more severe injuries:

A stem cell's primary purpose is to repair and replace damaged tissues and organs within the body. Stem cells are derived from the patient's adipose tissue (fat tissue).

Once injected back into the body, stem cells have the ability to take the place of tissues and organs that aren't performing at their ideal level. Stem cells can become:

bone cells, cartilage, tendons, hair, heart cells, liver cells, and more!

Stem Cell Treatment

Stem cells travel to injured areas under the direction of PRP to treat severe injuries such as:

  • Sports injuries (rotator cuff tears, tennis and golfer elbows, pitching injuries)
  •  Meniscal tears, cruciate ligament problems
  • Back problems, such as herniated disks and DJD
  • Chronic pain in shoulders, back, knees, hips, hands, feet, and elbows
  • Orthopedic injuries such as osteoarthritis
  • PRP and Stem Cells can also be used for hair restoration

For less severe injuries:

Many professional athletes have undergone PRP therapy including: Tiger Woods, Patton Manning, Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, Hines Ward, and Rafael Nadal.

Each of the athletes used platelet-rich plasma treatment in order to heal much faster, avoid surgery, and get back into their game.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) contains:

  • Proteins called growth factors
  • Circulating Stem Cells.

How Does PRP Treatment Work?

The Proteins direct circulating Stem Cells to an injured area to induce and decrease healing time. The concentration of platelets and thereby the concentration of growth factors can be 5 to 10 times greater (or richer) than usual.  Injecting these cells into injuries results in better and faster healing.

Effective Uses of PRP:

  • Sports injuries
  • Orthopedic problems such as arthritis
  • Cosmetic treatments
  • Hair restoration
